Catherine turns oyster and scallop shells into trinket dishes. Birds, flowers, bees and sea creatures on the inside, a gold edge around the rim, and often a pearl set into the hinge.

She also makes jewellery out of vintage silver plated cutlery. A spoon handle becomes a birdhouse pendant, hung about with hummingbirds and dragonflies and small crystals.

Everything can be made to order. You choose the design that goes on your shell or your pendant, which is useful for the person on your list who is impossible to buy for.
