Sewn and quilted, made to be used

QUILTINGKITCHENHOME

A row of quilted casserole handle covers standing on a wire shelf in florals, plaids and animal prints, framed by a garland of red winter berries

Marsha quilts in Nanaimo, and almost everything she makes is meant to be used rather than looked at.

Tea cozies, pot holders, potato bags, bowl cozies and table runners. Small wall hangings. Herbal neck wraps and eye pillows for the end of a long day, and catnip toys for the cat who will not be getting anything else.

The lavender in the eye pillows and the catnip in the toys are both grown in her own garden.
