Vanessa sews in Port McNeill, at the top end of the Island, and makes everything in small batches rather than runs.

She brings fleece beanies and vests, sling bags, travel and wash bags, and zip pouches in corduroy, waxed canvas and bouclé. The pieces are built to be carried around rather than kept for best.

Where she can get them she uses recycled Polartec fleece and Oeko-Tex certified fabrics, bought from local suppliers where that is possible too.
